for the meantime...i thought some of you might enjoy a recent (not necessarily the best) pic of the kids. this involved me setting the baby on the bed so that i could get the boys in their jammies & as soon as they were dressed they climbed up to "snuggle" her & requested the taking of a picture!

GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS...

Good news: I am BACK!!! ...at least I am trying, again! Bad news: Regretfully, I think I have made the decision to go private. I have wrestled with it for a while, and I think it is the right choice for our family. yeast anyone?

I made one hour cinnamon rolls, but didn't have the chance to roll out all of them. So I covered up the dough, stuck it in the fridge, & left the house. However, my dough did not chill quicker than it rose!! I came home to this in my fridge! Too funny!

KOLOB...again!

We went up to Kolob and had a blast...just the 5 of us. We could not keep the boys off of the 4-wheelers! We rode all over thos mountains! The boys also wanted to constantly "go for a hunt" (translation: hunt = hike)! They LOVE spotting birs and finding lizards! We went for a picnic & the baby just chilled...she was the only one that the little flies were not attacking!! It was a good time spent with little distractions, just us & the kids! I LOVE my family!

4th of July

After Kacey and I decided to throw a BBQ for the handful of us who had nothing to do for the 4th, Daddy decided he didn't even want to spend it with us (he went to the cabin with his brothers). I am so mean I know, but I am just teasing him! Regardless we had fun. We ate some good food, hung out with good friends, and there were fireworks of course. The sparklers were about all Blaze could handle...he never has been fond of loud noises. I neglected to get a piture of all of us in our red, white, & blue, but at least we got Charlie's first 4th of July outfit at the last minute!

PARTY!

We had an open house for Charlie so that everyone could meet her. We had quite the spread and a pretty good turn out (thanks everyone who made it out...the thank you notes will be out sometime!). Charlie was quite the hit...happily being passed around (until she was hungry, of course)!

P.S. All the kids had a blast in the kiddie pool in the backyard, but unfortunately did not make it on this post because there was a lack of bathing suits in more pictures than not!!!

GREAT HARVEST

Can I just start by saying YUM!!! My friend set up a tour of Great Harvest Bread Co. our the kids. It was a lot of fun! First they learned a bit about the ingredients and machines used to make the breads. Then they each got a little piece of dough to shape that was then baked in the hugest oven that I had ever seen!! It holds something like 500 loaves of bread at a time! While their bread was baking, the tour guide (sorry I forget her name, but she was super cute and as sweet as candy!) read The Red Hen to the kids, during which we all got a slice of warm cinnamon-raisin bread (way too good for words). When all was said done they got a little activity packet to take home with their fresh bread packed inside! Thanks Britt, we had a blast!

COME MEET THE BABY!

I am still getting to posting about our new little one, but if you want you come meet her in person... We are going to have a little open house, next wednesday, so that everyone can come meet her. 4 WEEKS...almost

I needed to put together birth announcements, so I took some pictures of Charlie on Monday (she was for weeks on wednesday). Here are some of the results of our CHUBBY little girl!

Adam's siblings have a cabin up near Kolob reservoir in Utah and we visited a couple weeks ago. The boys had a blast being outdoors...not something we are getting to do for a while now that summer is here! The waether was beautiful & we look forward to spending some quality family weekends up there this summer!

...and she came!!!

Charlie Grace was born on May 27th (only 10 days late!) and she was 7lbs. 12 ozs. and 20.5 inches long...i think. I couldn't tell you exactly what time she was born if you paid me...sometime just after noon, but MAN...was I TIRED! (also why I am not sure on the length, or maybe she is my 3rd!) My labor was loooooong and I was going on no sleep. All I wanted was for them to hand me my baby & let me take a nap!

A few hours later my two VERY excited boys got to come meet their sister for the first time, but I am not sure if they were happier to see her or just see their mama! So very nice to be loved!

CONGRATULATIONS DR. STOUT!!

It is crazy to think that my husband is officially a "doctor!" He finally graduated from dental school! What a journey! I am so grateful for the hours of torture my wonderful husband endured to get to this point!

The dental school has their own ceremony the night before the big ceremony for the whole school, for all the family & friends to attend.

Okay...so considering how large & in charge I look in the following pictures, I had to make myself feel better by posting one of me after the gala (the night before graduation). I can look cute while pregnant...every once in a while! Okay, enough of that, I feel better!

No one told me I looked so big...okay, okay, I'm done now!

We are so proud of our daddy for all of his hard work and dedication!

OH MY... how to thank all of the school buds, without whom, studying and passing the time would have done my husband in! We have made some fantastic friendships that will be carried with us no matter where everyone ends up! Thanks guys, we love ya tons!

And a big thanks to our families and our friends who have supported us for the past few years!

SENIOR GALA

The day before graduation, we went to the senior gala. Thanks to Michelle for lending me a dress to wear! I was a week out from my due date...who wants to buy a maternity dress then???

UTAH

Between the last day of school and graduation, we didn't have much for obligations, so we were able to head to Utah for a week. We spent the first few days with Adam's brother Phil, his wife lindsey, and their little boy Bishop (in pictures below). These boys had a blast! We went on a mini hike/adventure, got to visit a brand new calf, and even explored some old farm equipment...awesome for my tractor obsessed boys!

Bath time...in our house at least, is always followed by some (shall we say) FREEDOM! My boys love to run around naked, and Bishop joined right in! They all got a kick out of chasing the dogs!
