Good mom day!

The Sunbeams were in charge of closing exercises a couple weeks ago. Bennett was asked to give a talk and memorize the Third Article of Faith. Each week the class in charge is responsible for leading the article for the month, and Bennett's teacher asked the class to learn it. Adam was so that parent, as he tried to inconspicuously film it from the back of the room! I do have to say, I was so proud at that moment! It was too cute & I felt like a good mom!

Fun at the park

We spent the day at the park. There is this little chair that sits slightly crooked, so all you have to do is get on & it uses your weight to spin pretty fast! I put Bennett on it for a laugh...he couldn't stop by himself though! Even funnier, was when he climbed up by himself (while I was sitting on the swing with Blaze) and got going REALLY fast! Thanks to one of the other moms, he was promptly rescued, as I couldn't stop laughing long enough to get my preggo butt up!

Blaze has discovered my mascara...sadly it wasn't the first time! Mommy hasn't learned yet!

Blaze is 2!!!!

Blaze turned 2! He is my crazy child, but more fun each day! He has been talking in paragraphs (not sentences) for a while...the joys of older siblings! He cracks me up on a daily basis with his RANDOM observations and things he picks up! What a ball of fire, this one...obviously named well!

GREAT CAUSE!

My friend Karalee is hosting an auction on their blog for the health care of her brother-in-law... Robert, 24, is fighting leukimia (AML) for the second time. He was first diagnosed in November 2007 and completed four rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant in the following 9 months. He has been recovering since the end of July 2008. On Friday, February 6, 2009, he was called by his doctors because they found leukemia cells in his routine blood work. He was admitted to the hospital that night and is currently undergoing a round of chemo and making plans for a second bone marrow transplant. He is cared for by his wife Ashley, 23 and his parents Linda and Ken Ashworth. We are telling their story and fundraising for his ongoing care here!
